Finish mobile phone giant Nokia, has slumped to a loss in the third quarter, with a net loss of £132 million pounds. This is a result of growing pressure from other phone makers such as Apple and Samsung. If we take a look to the start of the year it was still a big player in the smart phone market with over 22% of the market share, however alot of this has been taken over by Samsung, HTC and BlackBerry.
Its a far cry away for the days back in the early 2000′s, I remember back when I was 11 (2001) getting my first mobile phone a Nokia 3310, They were great little phone that were well designed and user friendly. Oh the days when snake would amuse you for hours, who needs angry birds eh
Sadly this is the mobile phone market, and if you dont adapt quick enough, then you get left behind.
